Jan 5, What to consider when installing solar PV systems: Solar Energy: Eco20/20

Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems harness the natural energy of the sun and convert it into electricity, which can then be fed back into your home to run household appliances and lighting. A standard 2.9kWp system will generate up to 2,500 kilowatt hours of electricity a year, or around three-quarters of a household's energy needs, while saving more than a tonne of carbon dioxide.
